Nick Durig (he/him) is a New York based designer working between Furniture, Architecture, and Interior Design.
He completed his MFA in Furniture Design at Rhode Island School of Design and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Washington. He’s interested in vernacular conventions adapted in provocative ways. Much of his work centers around typical joinery, rudimentary craft, and uncomplicated construction.
Nick is currently a Senior Designer at Studio Giancarlo Valle. He has previously worked with Frederick Tang, Emily Lindberg, Rafael de Cardenas, and GO’C Studio.
